Dr. Michael Lasky
To say that Dr. Michael loves his work as a pediatric dentist is the ultimate understatement. Being silly with his young patients is one of his favorite things and one of the reasons why he chose pediatric dentistry as a career. Dr. Michael takes pride in his ability to transform a fearful child into a happy patient who leaves the Lasky Pediatric Dental Group office unafraid and confident that a trip to the dentist can be fun!
Dr. Michael graduated from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in 1995 with its highest honors and is a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. In 1997, he completed a two year specialty in pediatric dentistry at Children’s Hospital Boston, part of the Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
Upon returning to Los Angeles that same year, Dr. Michael joined the pediatric dentistry practice of his father, Dr. Martin Lasky, who retired after over 50 years as one of the San Fernando Valley’s first pediatric dentists.
Besides his pediatric dental practice, Dr. Michael gives back by teaching his profession and was an Associate Clinical Instructor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of the Pacific and was a part-time instructor in the Clinical Department of Pediatric Dentistry at Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Michael is a current member of the Pacific Dugoni Foundation Board at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry and is actively involved in shaping the future of dental education.
He is also a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Dental Association, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, San Fernando Valley Dental Society and Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity.
In his free time, Dr. Michael enjoys spending time with his favorite business partner and wife, Dr. Jill and their two sons, Jack and David. The Lasky family enjoys traveling and exploring the great outdoors. Dr. Michael’s hobbies include: sailing, skiing, hiking, bike riding, and attending his sons’ sporting events with Dr. Jill.
